This game is kid-friendly, it only looks like it is made for adults.
I was intrigued when I saw this game. It looked like fun, and it certainly was attractive, with the wooden blocks which are shaped like the houses and buildings of a Medieval European city.
I love things made out of wood, anyway.
I decided that this will make the perfect gift for the pre-teen grandchildren for several reasons. Besides being fun, it is good looking and can be left out on a table.
My children always loved chess and Jenga, and now the grandkids also play these games. A simpler game than chess, while strategic, “Cathedral” is a fun addition for siblings.
Playing board games is an activity that has created lots of good memories, and my grown up children still look forward to times together when they haul out their favorites and engage in plenty of laughs and friendly competition.
I look forward to introducing this for our next reunion.
