- Vegetables: Potatoes which are usually mashed, but may be roasted, carrots, Brussels sprouts, or roasted root vegetable mix. Sweet potatoes are popular, roasted or mashed. Corn, often in a pudding or soufflé is popular.
- Other breads: yeast rolls, cornbread may be offered
- Desserts: Pies (pumpkin, apple) are most common
- Giblets:Organ meats like the neck, liver, heart, and gizzard, are often used to make stock for gravy. The heart and gizzard can be chopped and added to the stuffing.
